The land with lofty peaks, beautiful rivers and with idyllic sites, shining with splendorous Mother-Nature, is our bhArathavarsha. Countless Rishis, philosophers and luminaries, who by reflecting and expanding our matchless ancient culture, have sanctified this sacred land. Our bhArathavarsha. is the treasure-house and wisdom ocean filled with priceless gems, such as Upanishads and such other literature, chiefly required for the spiritual and materialistic progress of entire mankind. This literature, which is at paramount position of divine vEdas and which is authoritative and classic too, is universally referred to and acclaimed as vEdanta. These writings are all in Sanskrit language and cannot be easily deciphered by common-man. With a noble aim that all man-kind be benefitted by these sterling noble principles of upanishads, Sage vEdavyAsa has composed an illustrious divine poem also known as bhagavadgIta consisting of 700 verses. bhagavAn vEdavyAsa has further reflected the very principles canvassed in upanishads and bhagavadgIta in the form of sUtras or aphorisms. The text containing these sUtras is revered universally and variously called brahmasUtraNi, shArIrakamImAmsA, vEdAntashAstram, bAdarAyaNIya-vEdAntasUtrANi, ChaturlakshanI, etc. Since these are in the form of aphorisms, it is difficult even to scholars to grasp the true meaning hidden in it. For this purpose, achArya shankarabhagavatpAda, who is believed to be the incarnation of lord paramEshwara, has schematised these aphorisms into 555 sUtras and blessed us with his lucid commentary for these sUtras, which has to be learnt from a Guru - firmly rooted in the knowledge of the scriptures and established in the realization of brahman. It is not possible even to the enthusiastic seeker, in this mechanical world to go in search of such shrOtrya brahmaniShTha Guru and spend considerable time in learning these Upanishads and its true meaning as demonstrated through the Commentaries of achArya shankara. However, with little effort one can understand the true purport of this revered literature by appropriately splitting the words and reading. Alas, in this mechanical world even such reading is arduous and nightmarish. Keeping these obstacles in mind and with the sole intention that a true seeker interested in advaita Philosophy, for the limitations stated above, should not be deprived of the aupanishadic knowledge, Krishna Kamala Vedata Pathashala, Benglauru has conceived an idea to put this treasure in aural form and accordingly has developed a Mobile Application and presenting before you. In this Mobile Application you will find mantrAs and its Commentaries as propounded by achArya- shankarabhagavatpAda on seven principal upanishads, vEdAnta sUtras and Commentaries on adhikaranapanchaka, as graced by Shri shankarabhagavatpUjyapAda, in linguistic mode in Sanskrit language with compound words appropriately alienated and in aural mode. You are heartily welcomed to take a Divine Dive in this sacred ocean.
